Finding Magic in the Mundane
As a writer, I often draw inspiration from the seemingly ordinary moments in life. I’m a minimalist at heart, and my appreciation for the simple things in life fits right into my lifestyle. It’s in these quiet, everyday experiences that I find the spark that fuels my stories. Whether it’s the way sunlight filters through the leaves on a morning walk with my dog, Luna, or the cozy charm of a small Massachusetts beach town that inspired my debut novel, The Plymbury Witch, magic is everywhere if you know where to look.
The Art of Hand Lettering
One of my passions is hand lettering, and I love creating pieces that inspire me. Here’s a piece I recently finished—the title of my upcoming novel, The Plymbury Witch.

A Glimpse into Plymbury
The setting of my new novel is Plymbury, a charming town where magic weaves into the fabric of everyday life. Although Plymbury is a fictional town, it's inspired by blending the names, beauty, and culture of two real towns on the east coast of Massachusetts. Here's a photo I took of one of the actual beaches that helped shape my vision of Plymbury.
This beach captures the essence of Plymbury Beach and is home to my characters.
